The Choir Director at First United Methodist Church, The Colony, is a vital leadership role responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading all aspects of the church’s music ministry. This includes directing the Chancel Choir, Bell Choir, collaborating with the Senior Pastor on worship planning. The congregation's worship style included traditional to traditional/blended expressions. We're looking for a committed Christian with strong musical, leadership, and organizational skills; but above all a keen eye for building beloved community--as the music ministry operates as a close family.
